Editorial Methodology

At Liverpool Realty, our core value is providing independent, accurate, and objective property information. This methodology outlines how we research, write, and maintain our content.

Independence First

We are not an estate agency and do not hold property stock. Our editorial decisions are completely separated from any commercial partnerships. We do not accept payment to write positive reviews of areas, developments, or agencies. If a neighbourhood has known issues—such as transport connectivity challenges, noise, or historical service charge problems in specific developments—we will state them clearly.

Data and Evidence

Where we quote statistics regarding property prices, rents, or yields, we rely on established, publicly accessible data sources such as HM Land Registry, the Office for National Statistics (ONS), and local authority publications. We do not rely solely on promotional material provided by developers. Read more about our Data Sources.

Local Knowledge

Our area guides are built on local knowledge. We consider the nuances that data alone cannot capture—such as the changing character of a street from day to night, the reality of the local commute, and the genuine community feel of a neighbourhood.

Regular Review

The property market moves quickly. We commit to reviewing our core guides and area profiles regularly. You will find a "Last Reviewed" date at the bottom of our guides indicating when the information was last checked for accuracy.

Corrections

We strive for accuracy, but if we make a mistake, we will correct it promptly. If you spot an error in our data or descriptions, please let us know via our Contact page.
